What this website collects
Nothing. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no embedded video, no web font loaded from someone else's server, and no contact form. Every asset on every page is served from this domain, so no third party learns that you visited.
The hosting provider keeps standard server request logs, as any web host does. Those are not read by Breakwater Appliance Co. for marketing and are not combined with anything else.
What a phone call collects
When you book a visit we take your name, the service address, a contact number, and details of the appliance. That information exists to do the job and to honour the warranty afterwards. It is not sold, rented, or handed to a marketing company.
Parts orders require the model and serial number to be shared with a parts supplier. That is the only routine disclosure, and it is limited to what the supplier needs to ship the right part.
Keeping and deleting
Job records are kept for as long as the parts warranty runs, plus the period required for tax and accounting purposes. After that they are destroyed. You can ask what is held about you and ask for it to be deleted, subject to those record-keeping obligations.
